A.Cagatay Talay is a PhD candidate in the department of Computer Engineering at Istanbul Technical University. Currently he is a Graduate Research Assistant in the Computer Networks Research Laboratory, pursuing his Ph.D. degree under the supervision of Dr. D. Turgay Altilar. His PhD thesis is on the design of Efficient Communication Protocols for Wireless Cognitive Radio Networks. From May 2008 to January 2009, he was a visiting researcher at the Wireless Communication and Signal Processing (WCSP) group under the guidance of Dr. Huseyin Arslan, University of South Florida, USA.
